Yes, unfortunately. Though Renpy has a nice skip feature which can let you fast forward at a breakneck speed. Just enable "Skip unseen text" in the preferences first and off you go. You can skip through the entire game in ~25 minutes. The official walkthrough helps you skip through minigames faster. If you notice that you went too fast, the autosaves should have your back.
I boldly assume that you've started to consider this mod because you lost someone's path. In that case, you can fix your mistake along the way as well!
Hey! I wanted to say thanks for this mod! Im one of those people that absolutely need to get the best ending in a game or I wont be able to put it down, so being able to know im on the right track while not being spoiled by walkthroughs was really really nice! Do you plan on making a similar thing for Eternum/any other games?
Thanks for your kind words, it really means a lot! Yes, a similar mod for Eternum is in the works, I'm about 81% done with it. It will be part new and part familiar, I'm looking forward to show it to you guys.
As for other games, why don't you suggest another awesome game that would also benefit from a mod like this? I'm always open to suggestions.
Hello, I checked out your suggestion! In terms of "a game that benefits from a mod like this" I get where you're coming from! A Shot in the Dark seems to like its branching narrative, though it feels like this tapers off quite a bit in later chapters.
Now, creating a mod for any game is a sizeable commitment and I'm very picky when it comes to my modding candidates! So far, I wouldn't consider ASITD amazing enough to become a candidate. It's good but a few things hold it back: The story pacing feels off; sometimes we make no progress for a while and suddenly we have a lot of progress in a short time. Then, I don't really like how the lewds are stuctured, but I understand that this is prbly due to Daz's limitations. Finally, I think that 10 LIs is quite a lot and I struggle to really connect with the LIs in a meaningful way.
I liked that the game had interesting ideas both for the story and the lewds, and the visuals were great too. I'll keep playing future updates of it, but the game doesn't meet my high standards yet. Still, I'm thankful for your suggestion, I definitely don't regret giving this game a shot!
Hello! Caribdis has just released chinese version of Oialt, I found out that if I extract this mod to the game, it will overwirte the ingame translation but with no same files replaced. I can't find out why, the only trace is both translation setting and mod setting take the same location in game ui. Can you take a look at the translated game? If not , it's also fine :) .
Sure, I will look into it, thanks for letting me know! Right now, too many people downloaded the translation and access is temporarily restricted, this may take a while.
If I'm doing that, I might as well also translate the few lines my mod has into Chinese. If you or someone else reading this wouldn't mind translating ~40 lines into Chinese; find me on Caribdis' Discord server - I have the same Nickname there - and send me a PM about it.
EDIT: It's been 9 days and I still can't download the translation. It will work eventually, I'll keep trying. spartannnn volunteered to translate those lines for me, big thanks to him!
Might check this out again - loved the game, spent hours on a single save game stack (I know, mistake) and then realised I locked myself out of routes that I was wanting to do when I realised it was going nowhere
I might take a look at this again I did see everyone's ending the first time I played this now I wanna see with consequences happening or basically get the bad ending lol
This mod is not designed for aiding you achieve one of the bad endings, you should use the official walkthrough instead. Though the information the mod provides can help a little bit at least.
The PC version gets added to the game folder, the included manual tells you how exactly. The Android version is a standalone modded version of the game.
I'm planning to! But Eternum will still be in development for a while and I can't write guidance for future events that are not in the game yet. I should be able to cook up something before 0.7 comes out, stay tuned!

How do you go about using this? Do you add it into the folder or do you open while playing?

Thank you!!!!
This sounds like a nice way to include some extra "difficulty" into the game!
Smart~!!
Thanks! Well.. it's more about not voiding all fun by just revealing the correct decisions right away but I get where you're coming from :)
Will you be doing mods like this for his other game?
